Oudetennisballen.com ART - 1st Exhibition !!

A new chapter in the Oudetennisballen.com project; our own art line Stefano Melo !! We are often asked what do you do with all those tennis balls. Under the heading 'creative with a tennis ball' you can read and see what people are already doing with tennis balls. Other developments with and around tennis balls, tennis ball granules and circular tennis balls are running in the background. But since this quarter we have also made art out of it. We have already created various artworks on request. But now our first exhibition !!

The artworks are made from old used products from tennis. Think of tennis court carpet, tennis lines, tennis covering, tennis balls, tennis cans and other materials that remain from production processes. 

The Kunstijn is called - STEFANO MELO -. the name refers to the South American roots of Stefan Niesten, the founder of Oudetennisballen.com and the creator and creator of the artworks'. All these works are 98% circular and are all handmade.

The inside of a tennis ball is made of rubber. Every brand and type of tennis ball uses its own unique special type of rubber. This explains the color differences in the tennis ball. They are actually two half rubber caps made together by a kind of glue. The glue is also unique and has its own color. Furthermore, the rubber layer of pressureless balls is thicker than the gas-filled ball.
